Sunghoon to Leave Music Bank This Week

ENHYPEN's Sunghoon, who started hosting popular K-Pop music show "Music Bank," in 2021, has announced that he will soon be stepping down from the role.

Sunghoon debuted as a host alongside IVE's Jang Wonyoung in October of last year, even winning the "Best Couple" award at the "KBS Entertainment Awards of 2021."

Since then Sunghoon has interviewed countless artists as host including ITZY, New Jeans, WJSN, ATEEZ, THE BOYZ, and TWICE.

Yesterday it was announced that following today's "Music Bank" airing, on the 2nd of September, Sunghoon will be stepping down as host of the program.

Reportedly, the idol has chosen to step down due to ENHYPEN's upcoming world tour and incredible promotionals/ schedules.

Despite Sunghoon leaving, Jang Wonyoung will continue as host. There has been no news about a replacement host for Sunghoon.

ENHYPEN's upcoming world tour will take the group around the globe, with dates already booked in the US and Japan.

ENHYPEN's tour will stop in the American cities, Anaheim on October 2, Fort Worth on October 6, Houston on October 8, Atlanta on October 11, Chicago on October 13, and New York on October 15.

Furthermore, Japanese fans can look forward to the group's concerts in Aichi, Osaka, and Kanagawa this November.

Meanwhile, Jang Wonyoung's group IVE have recently released their newest viral hit track, "After LIKE," and the track has already topped charts around the globe.
