According to the Hope Bridge Natural Disaster Association, K-Pop idol Jinwoo and actor-idol Jinyoung, both donated funds to help victims and the recovering of a flooded, rain-battered Seoul.

Jinwoo of YG group WINNER, reportedly donated 10 million won to the victims of the intense flooding of Seoul and the areas around the cities.

The current flooding, called the 'worst flooding in 80 years,' has caused countless injuries and 11 deaths as relentless monsoon rains overwhelm Seoul streets, businesses, buildings, and more.

This is not the first donation that Jinwoo has given the Hope Bridge Natural Disaster Association, according to reports, the idol donated 20 million dollars in 2019, 10 million for forest fires relief and another 10 million for Typhoon Lingling victims.

Furthermore, in 2020, the artist donated another 20 million, with 10 million going to COVID-19 prevention efforts and the other 10 million going to the victims of the monsoon rains that August.

In addition to Jinwoo's donations, popular actor-idol Park Jinyoung donated 30 million to the relief association.

According to the Hope Bridge Natural Disaster Association, the idol specified that he wanted the money to be allocated to help victims whose houses were destroyed by the rains return to their daily life.

Similarly, in 2020, when Korea has also struggled through a massive monsoon season, Jinyoung had also donated to help people affected by the flooding and summer rains.
