After seven years with Starship Entertainment, the five members of MONSTAX have reorganized their contracts with the company.
While the group has vowed to stay together, member I.M has decided to leave Starship. All the other members resigned with the company.
"Starship Entertainment recently renewed contracts with five of our agency artist Monsta X's members Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon and Jooheon." Starship
"As all six members still have unchanging affection for Monsta X and [their fans] Monbebe, we have come to a mutual agreement for I.M to continue [with other members] for future group activities" Starship
In addition to being a member of MONSTAX, I.M debuted as a solo artist in February of last year with the release of his first EP, "DUALITY" and first title track "God Damn."
Most recently, I.M featured on R&B Vocalist Heize's new track, "Distance." The track appears on her June, 2022, full-length record. The album's other featured artists include george, Giriboy, and (G)I-DLE's Minnie.
