Kakao Entertainment To Debut First K-Pop Group (2022)

Announced Today, Kakao Entertainment said that they will introduce a five-member boy group named 'GOMAK BOYS' this September.

According to the company, the pre-debut group will be introduced through a Kakao TV's original that is scheduled to premiere in September.

Kakao Entertainment was formed after KakaoPage and Kakao M merged. The corporation currently controls subsidiary companies like Starship Entertainment, IST Entertainment, Management SOOP.

According to the company's Wikipedia site Kakao Entertainment operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management, concert production company, and music publishing house.

The upcoming group, 'GOMAK BOYS," will be the first K-Pop group to debut directly under Kakao Entertainment, instead of under one of with their subsidiary companies.

Furthermore, Kakao Entertainment have announced massive international auditions titled "2022 Kakao Entertainment Friends Global Online Audition."

The auditions will take place across the US, Asia, Europe, and Oceania from August till January 2033.

Most recently, Kakao Entertainment debuted new boy group ATBO under their subsidiary company "IST Entertainment." Other artists managed by Kako include THE BOYZ, VICTON, and Weeekly, among others
