Girls Planet 999 Ito Miyu To Join New Debut K-Pop Girl Group, LIMELIGHT (2022)

143 Entertainment has announced that former Girls Planet 999 contestant and Japanese trainee Ito Miyu will be debuting with their new girl group.

The group, named "LIMELIGHT," is still in the process of being formed. So far other members include My Teenage Girl's Kim Suhye and trainee Oh Gaeun.

According to the company, Ito Miyu will be debuting with the stage name MiU.

Miyu is a talented model, modeling alongside Oh Gaeun for Alexander Wang, and has even released her own clothing line.

Miyu participated in the 2021 survival program "Girls Planet 999," which formed girl group Kep1er, but was unfortunately eliminated in Episode 5.

Kim Suhye is also well-known among K-Pop fans for her time on the popular survival program "My Teenage Girl" which formed the girl group, "Class:y."

Known for her powerful vocals, Suhye was a memorable trainee of the My Teenage Girl contestants. Sunye was eliminated in Episode 8.
