One of EXO's top vocalists, Xiumin is reportedly preparing for the release of his first solo record to be released this September.

Today, SM Entertainment confirmed that Xiumin is indeed releasing his solo record this September.

Although it will be Xiumin's first solo record, the talented artist has put out several solo songs and OST tracks including "You," "For You," "To my one and only you," and "Young & Free."

As a result, Xiumin's solo Spotify artist discography already has over 370k monthly listeners, an immense amount for an artist who is yet to release his first album.

Xiumin debuted in EXO, under SM Entertainment, in 2012. Since then, the talented vocalist has participated in EXO's sub-unit EXO-CBX and EXO-M.

In May of 2019, Xiumin enlisted for his mandatory military service. While away, Xiumin starred in the army musical "Return: The Promise of That Day" with fellow K-Pop idols Yoon Jisung and Onew (SHINee).

Most recently, in 2021, Xiumin sung the OST track "To my one and only you" for the popular K-Drama, "Mr.Queen" soundtrack.
