After the viral success of (G)I-DLE’s “TOMBOY” in the first half of the year, the girl group have excited the internet with news of their upcoming release coming this October.

The new album will be the group’s fifth mini album and will be titled “I Love.” CUBE Entertainment announced the new release with a title poster last Wednesday.

According to The Korean Herald, “A poster for the “I Love” EP shows a lady in red top with a sweetheart neckline accentuated by hands clad in long black gloves.”

The new record comes seven months since the group’s last release, “I Never Die,” which served as the girl group’s glorious return after their year-long hiatus.

The success of the LP and its title track “TOMBOY” quickly pushed the group to the top of the K-Pop and global Pop charts including the iTunes and Spotify charts.

Furthermore, the girl group followed up their album with a massive headlining tour, which took (G)I-DLE across Latin and North America, as well as around Asia.

The new record, “I Love” will be released on the 17th of October at 6 PM, making it one of the most anticipated albums to be released in October.
