According to hellotohallyu, Antis is “Short for anti-fans, these groups unite against actors or idols for various reasons…”

“…including stories in the news or to defend their bias from any potential competition.”

Basically, Antis take the same ways that fans use to support idols and use them to break idols down.

Often forming highly-toxic organized online communities, Antis are the highest forms of online haters

and sometimes taking their hate to borderline criminally invasive levels.

According to Refinery 29, Anti-fans “despise a group or artist so much that they devote time to mocking, criticizing, or making derivative works about it.”

“Many of these anti-fandoms even have names, like TWICE's critics "Thrice."”
