How to Vote for MCOUNTDOWN (a Step-By-Step Guide)

M!Countdown uses two separate apps for K-Pop Pre-voting: Mwave and Whosfan. Together the votes from the apps form 15%of an artist’s final “Global Voting” score.

M! Countdown Pre-Voting starts from Fridays 2 PM KST through Mondays 9 AM KST

The first app is MWAVE. MWAVE can be downloaded on the Android app store or iOS store and all you need to do to vote is to log in every day during the pre-voting period and choose your candidate.

The second app, Whosfan, provides a Pre-voting ticket daily for free for global fans. Use your M Countdown Voting ticket to vote for your favorite artist!

Below we have broken down how to officially vote for M COUNTDOWN 2022 

  1. MWAVE: Download the MWAVE app by following the links below:

    ANDRIOD, iOS

  2. Sign-in

    Using a social account: Kakao, Twitter, Facebook, NAVER, Google, Instagram, Tumblr., Line, and WeChat, create an MWAVE account and sign in

  3. Click on the Pre-Voting tab

    Voting is open during the week from Friday 14:00 (KST) to Monday 9:00 (KST).

  4. Whosfan: Download the Whosfan app in your app store

  5. Sign-in

    Use your social media to create a Whosfan account and sign in to the app

  6. Collect points by completing tasks

    You can earn points by completing a variety of tasks on the Whosfan app like signing up for their newsletter, watching videos, and reading articles.

  7. Exchange points for M Countdown ticket

    Click on “STORE” and use your earned points to purchase an M Countdown Voting ticket

  8. Collect 1 M COUNTDOWN Global Voting Ticket

    All international fans are given 1 Global Voting Ticket that can be used to vote for M COUNTDOWN

  9. Vote

    Use the ticket(s) and vote for your favorite nominated artist(s)
