Introduction to TEMPEST
With an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation, the seven members of TEMPEST took to the stage for the first time. Performing their brand new instant hit “Bad News,” the members blew audiences away with their skills that have exceeded the expectations for a freshly debuted group.
K-Pop fans may already know several talented TEMPEST members from top idol survival shows. For example, LEW and Hyeongseob are former contestants on Produce 101 S2. Meanwhile, Hanbin is a former I-LAND contestant, and Hwarang is a former Under Nineteen contestant.
With thanks to the members’ pre-existing fame as talented performers and musicians, TEMPEST’s members have debuted to an explosion of popularity. In under 24 hours, their debut track has gained 2.4 million views on YouTube, an incredible feat for a brand new group!
- Along with “Bad News,” the members of TEMPEST released the rest of their first EP, which included four new B-Side songs in addition to the catchy title track.
Having had such a successful debut, fans around the globe cannot wait to see where this talented group will lead the K-Pop genre in the future.
