Red Velvet’s Seulgi has introduced her upcoming solo debut with the release of a cinematic Album Trailer which has been met with positive reactions from fans around the globe.

Seulgi, known as a member of the SM Entertainment group Red Velvet, surpised fans with her horror-thriller concept portrayed in her solo album trailer released last week.

Through skillfull acting, Seulgi brings a dark and ominous mood to the upcoming record – a sharp turn from Red Velvet’s previous release, the whimsical and bright “Feel My Rhythm.”

Although the concept choice is unexpected fans have reacted positively to the choice, with millions praising Seulgi’s acting and expressing their excitement for the new album.

According to SM Entertainment, Seulgi’s solo debut album, “28 Reasons,” will be released on the 4th of October at 6 PM and will include a melody of fresh solo tracks.

In April of 2021, Wendy became the first member of Red Velvet to debut as a soloist with the release of her ballad album, “Like Water.”

Fellow member Joy quickly joined her, debuting as a soloist a month later with the release of her retro-pop album “Hello” in May of the same year.
