Fans rush to vote as TXT & BTS nominated at the Peoples Choice Awards. T-ARA surprise their fans with a self-funded comeback after the members’ 4 year hiatus from the music industry

T-ARA Return after 4 Years

Legendary girl-group, the members of T-ARA are back after four years out of the music scene. Without a company, members Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon have self-funded a brand new comeback composed of a fresh title track and album.

The talented members of T-ARA debuted in 2009 with their hit song “Lie,” and quickly became a successful and beloved second-generation K-Pop group.

TXT & BTS NOMINATED at the Peoples Choice Awards

To the excitement of MOA and ARMY fans, TXT and BTS are both nominated by the People Choice Awards for awards at the American awards ceremony.

TXT at the PCAs

Their first nomination at the event, the five members of TXT (Tomorrow X Together), have been nominated for the “The New Artist of 2021” award.

• Other nominees for the award include The KID Laroi, Olivia Rodrigo, and Giveon, among others.

Not TXT’s only nomination this year, the group is also up for the “Best Male Group” and “Worldwide Fans’ Choice” awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) ceremony.

BTS at the PCAs

Furthermore, the talented members of BTS have received nominations for three awards at the PCAs.

1. Firstly the group is nominated for “The Group of 2021,” (a title that BTS took home in 2020).
   • Other nominees include Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, and Maroon 5, among others. 
2. Secondly, the PCAs have nominated BTS’ “Butter” for “The Song of 2021” and “The Music Video of 2021”
   • It should be noted that BTS and Coldplay’s collaboration music video “My Universe” has also been nominated for “The Music Video of 2021.” 

Awards won at the ceremony by BTS in 2020 include:

• The Group of 2020
• The Song of 2020 (Dynamite) 
• The Album of 2020 (Map of the Soul: 7)
•  The Music Video of 2020 (Dynamite)
