V’s “Sweet Night” becomes the most streamed K-OST song on Spotify, and other BTS news

Fans celebrate as V (Kim Taehyung) of BTS’ Itaewon Class OST track, “Sweet Night,” officially becomes the most-streamed K-OST song on Spotify.

“Sweet Night” and Itaewon Class

Released in 2020, Kim Taehyung’s soft acoustic OST track was an instant success with ARMY and listeners around the globe. Furthermore, as Itaewon Class became an international phenomenon with millions of watchers, this track reached an even larger audience.
Other K-Pop tracks from the iconic Itaewon Class OST include “Start Over” (Gaho), “No Words” (Crush), “You Make Me Back” (Kim Woosung), and “With Us” (Verivery).
In addition to becoming the most streamed K-OST on Spotify, V’s “Sweet Night” also won “Best OST” at both the Apan Awards and TheBig20Charts Awards. A truly incredible feat for Kim Taehyung and Itaewon Class.

In other BTS news, the hashtag #RecordMakerJimin has been trending on Twitter following Park Jimin’s solo song, “Filter,” reaching a peak on the Billboard Japan Top Downloaded Songs Chart thereby breaking several records for K-Soloists and B-Side tracks.
Furthermore, SUGA releases both his remix for the BTS X Coldplay collaboration track, “My Universe,” as well as his track with Japanese singer-songwriter, ØMI, titled “You.”
With the support of ARMY and the members’ incredible talent, BTS are topping their previously set records, making waves in music, and leading the way for a new modern style of music and performance.
