Street Woman Fighter Franchise Expands with Third Spin-off (2022)

Following the explosive popularity of the Hip-hop dance competition “Street Woman Fighter,” Korean cable network Mnet has announced their third spin-off show of the series.

The Success of SWF
The program was watched eagerly by both Korean and international fans, with performances gaining millions of views on YouTube.
Throughout the program, eight female hip-hop dance crews competed for success and a cash prize of 50 million KRW (approx. $42,750).

Spin-offs and Upcoming “Street Man Fighter”

Since the finale and end of “Street Woman Fighter”, Mnet has successfully launched a spin-off competition titled “Street Dance Girls Fighter.”
The spin-off program featured female high school dance crews and, while it did not reach the level of success that “Street Woman Fighter” received, it still gained the attention of hundreds of thousands of viewers.

Now, Mnet has announced its third spin-off series titled “Street Man Fighter.”
The program will feature the same staff of “Street Woman Fighter,” the same chief producer, Kwon Young-chan, and talented male hip-hop crews who will compete for international fame and a cash prize.
- While Mnet has yet to confirm dates, “Street Man Fighter” is predicted to start airing in the first half of 2022.
While “Street Dance Girls Fighter” is drawing to a finish this January, fans are already anticipating the crews, drama, and performances of the newly announced spin-off.
