A dazzling ceremony of Hallyu icons and mesmerizing performances by some of the top artists in Asia, the MAMA 2021 evening is one of the biggest nights of the year-end event season.

MAMA 2021 DETAILS: NOMINEES and Winning CRITERIA

This year’s ceremony will be held on the 11th of December and be MCed by the iconic Korean singer and performer Lee Hyori.

Announced on Tuesday, the upcoming Mnet Asian Music Awards will spotlight and feature top artists as performers and award presenters.

The show’s awards will get presented by icons of the Korean wave that include top singers and a variety of actors such as Ahn Bo-hyun, Song Joong-ki, and Kim Hye-yoon.

In addition to the presentation of this year’s awards, the upcoming show will also include performances by top musicians in the music industry.

The performers include various K-Pop groups, the Japanese groups INI and JO1, globally-popular British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and the legendary dance crews of the iconic 2021 hip-hop dance competition show “Street Woman Fighter.”

• This year’s ceremony will also see the intensely-anticipated reunion stage of the legendary K-Pop temporary group “Wanna One;” the upcoming performance will be the first ensemble stage since the group’s disbandment in January 2019.

In preparation for the upcoming event, Mnet has announced three special collaborations stages:

2. Show Me the Money 10th Season Celebration Stage: Dynamicduo, Paloalto, GIRIBOY, lIlBOI, JUSTHIS, Lee Young Ji, and Gwang-il Jo
