Oklahoma native, Korean-American K-Pop performer/musician AleXa has stunned new and old fans with her mesmerizing performances on the American competition series “American Song Contest.” Now, this talented artist will showcase her skills on the anticipated Grand Live Finale!

AleXa: Produce 48, ZB, and K-Pop

Not this artist’s first competition program, AleXa made a name for herself by competing in the hit Korean trainee survival program “Produce 48.” Although she did not make it into the final group, AleXa soon signed with ZB records and started her career as a K-Pop star.

AleXa debuted in Korea in 2019 with her debut track “Bomb.” Since her debut, this versatile performer has released a variety of catchy K-Pop tracks accompanied by her signature powerful performance skills. AleXa currently has a whopping 560k monthly listeners on Spotify, with some of her biggest tracks including, “TATTOO,” “Rule The World,” and “Xtra.”

In 2021, AleXa was introduced to American TVs by singing the National Anthem for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Furthermore, she made her Korean acting debut in the Korean horror drama “Urban Myths.” Through all of her projects, AleXa has gained a global audience of loyal fans.

AleXa the American Song Contest Finalist

With her bubbly personality and insane skills, many watched the “American version of Eurovision” program just to see AleXa perform. “American Song Contest” is an eight-week competition program that highlights 56 musicians across the US. The program is hosted by Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg and premiered on the 21st of March on NBC.

Throughout the program, AleXa has demonstrated her incredible skills and training. In particular, her performance in the Semi-Finals, of the original track “Wonderland,” found success in the US and Korea, where she performed the track on the popular K-Pop YouTube Channel, Studio CHOOM.

After gaining enough votes to make her a finalist, AleXa will perform today in the “Live Grand Final” of the “American Song Contest.”

“I am a proud Okie — born and raised for 21 years — so I was more than happy to represent my home state and my people for this competition. As a Korean American myself, I really wanted to represent my mother’s Korean heritage … and everything that I’ve been working for these past four years as a K-pop artist and bring that to America,

I really wanted to bring the performance factor of K-pop to the ‘American Song Contest.’ So, that’s why we went all out with the lighting, staging, the hair, the makeup. We just wanted to bring a little bit of Korea to the U.S., but still holding true to … the Oklahoma values of working hard and showing everything we’ve got,

The fact that I got to represent Oklahoma in this competition as a K-pop artist, I’m just showing one of the few facets of what Oklahoma — and America — has to offer.”
