“0329 from.24”

On Friday, The Boyz member New (Choi Chanhee) released his first fully self-written track on the group’s official SoundCloud account.

The talented vocalist showcased his skills as a songwriter with the brand new track, titled “0329 from.24.”

Meaning Behind New Track

In a letter written by the artist before the track’s release, New describes how “0329 from.24” expresses his gratitude for the support/love of TheB (The Boyz’s loyal fans).

“There have been many times I was lonely and sad but thanks to you I could be a happy 24-year-old. I made this song hoping that The B could get what little consolation whenever you are overwhelmed by loneliness”

The track follows the recent offline three-day concert (“The B Zone”) held by the group (the first live concert in nearly three years) and the release of The Boyz’s fan song “Candles” (which was partly written by the members New, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric).

In the last year, The Boyz have blown away audiences with their two successful comebacks, which have won the group countless music show wins.

Furthermore, the members of The Boyz also finished second in the now-legendary survival program “Kingdom: Legendary War.” With many achievements, the 2017-debuted group is proving that they are one of the top groups in K-pop at the moment!

While Jay Park admitted that stepping down from the CEO positions of the two labels will “be a big surprise for many.” The artist states that he will still advise both companies in the coming future.

“I sincerely am grateful that [the staff and artists] joined me at the companies I’ve set up and made them better together, into cool companies. I feel so much pride and honor in the history we’ve built together, and I cherish it very much”

Since his departure on the 31st of December, Jay Park announced the upcoming launch of his soju brand under his pre-established company, One Spirits. The artist has also recently released the track “To Life,” available for fans on all music streaming platforms.
