GOT7 Members Announce NEW Ensemble Album for this May! (2022)

According to Warner Music Korea, iconic and beloved members of GOT7 will return this month for a brand new EP, their first album release since leaving their founding company JYPE at the start of 2021.

GOT7 New Album

According to the record label, all seven members, JAY B, Mark, Jinyoung, Jackson, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom, will return to the K-Pop scene on the 23rd of May.

GOT7’s last track, the digital single “Encore,” was released in February 2021, while their most recent album, “Breath of Love: Last Piece,” came out in November of 2020. According to the members, the new record is “for those who have waited for us, and everyone who is there for us.”

Since leaving JYPE…

Since leaving JYPE, each member of GOT7 has gone on to have a successful solo career, pursuing their unique passions.

For example, Yugyeom joined hip-hop label AOMG, put out his first solo album, a double-single digital release, and held standalone concerts in the German cities of Berlin, Munich, and Oberhausen.

Jinyoung, on the other, pursued his career in TV and acting. The talented actor played memorable starring roles on top K-dramas like “The Devil’s Judge” and “Yumi’s Cells,” as well as movies like the NETFLIX action film titled “Yaksha: Ruthless Operations.”

Homecoming with iGOT7

Finally, GOT7 announced on the 9th of May that the group will follow up the album release with a two-day concert.

The event will take place at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium, one of the biggest indoor stadiums in Seoul. The concerts will be held on the 21st and 22nd of May. The Sunday concert will be simultaneously streamed for international fans.

Now, after over a year, fans can look forward to a new GOT7 ensemble album from this versatile and talented group that has been one of the defining and most beloved groups in K-Pop history.
