The brilliant members of BTS have returned to Seoul after their hugely successful 4-day concert in LA with brilliant news! Amongst the new awards and tracks, the seven members of BTS have announced their upcoming 2022 Seoul Concert to the excitement of Korean ARMY fans.

Following the final LA concert on the 2nd of December, the members of BTS have taken to Twitter to announce the next stop on their Permission to Dance concert series.

Returning home to South Korea, the members announced their upcoming 2022 BTS Seoul concert through the official BTS Twitter account.
- The tweet reads, “See you in Seoul, MARCH 2022.” The message also used the brand-new hashtag #PTD_ON_STAGE-SEOUL.
“We’re all very excited about this [and we] hope that this will be the first of a series to see our ARMY and hold concerts”
“We’re hoping to do more concerts around the world and are planning for more concerts in Korea — after this one we have one [concert] in the plan.”

“Butter” Holiday Remix / Variety 2021 Record of The Year
As a Christmas Gift for their loyal ARMY fans, the septet has also dropped the holiday remix of their Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 track “Butter.”
The carol-pop version retains the energy of the original while using jingle-bells and Christmas sounds to give the song a holiday flair.
- The track was released across music platforms on the 3rd of December at 5 PM KST.
“Butter” is Variety’s Record of The Year
“Butter,” released this summer, has become one of the BTS’ most successful tracks. Since its release, the track has earned BTS the Favorite Pop Song award at the American Music Awards and a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Most recently,”Butter” won the group the title of Variety 2021 Hitmaker, with the song chosen as the top record of the year by the publication.

BTS Jin Releases Birthday Trot Track “Super Tuna”
In addition to these achievements, BTS member Jin has further surprised fans with the release of his fun birthday track “Super Tuna.”
- The playful trot track was released online on Jin’s birthday; meanwhile US fans were able to celebrate the birthday in-person as BTS performed at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in LA on the 4th of December.

The song incorporates the retro trot style popular in Korea in the 1960s and 70s. The trot genre is recognizable and defined by the music’s unique vocal inflections and upbeat rhythm.
- The style originated during the Japanese occupation of Korea and includes Korean, Japanese, American, and European music influences. The name trot comes from the English word foxtrot.
The trot style has recently gained popularity in Pop culture, with many idols experimenting with the genre. “Super Tuna” was co-produced by the Jin and BUMZU, who also performed the background vocals and synthesizer.
The track cover mirrors the brightly colorful and retro designs of trot albums, while the song plays on Jin’s well-known love for fishing.
Along with the song, Jin released a fun choreography video for the track with easy-to-follow dance steps perfect for fans to follow along.
