Fans of K-Drama OSTs will soon be filling up Seoul Forest Space in Seongdong-gu, Seoul for the first ever OST music festival, the “OST Forest.”
The event will take place on the 10th of September and will feature a variety of OST singers, a live orchestra, and busking performances.
Ticket sales start today on the 1st of September.

The new festival demonstrates the growing love of K-Drama OSTs that has been observed around the globe.
The popularity of these soundtrack songs is not completely surprising as they combine the popularity of K-Pop and K-Dramas, both of which have passionate fans in their millions.
Since the start of K-Pop and K-Dramas, OSTs have found popularity, with iconic songs being sung years after the show has stopped airing and sometimes even outselling their original dramas.
As a result, singing on OST albums has become a popular way for K-Pop stars and other Korean vocalists and rappers to flex their skills to brand new audiences.
Some of the most popular K-OST songs of the last year include, “Maybe Love” by MeloMance for the drama “Business Proposal” and “Love Always Runs Away” by Lim Young-woong for the drama “Young Lady and the Gentleman.
What is your favorite OST song? Who is your top OST singer?
