Announced Today, Kakao Entertainment said that they will introduce a five-member boy group named ‘GOMAK BOYS’ this September.
According to the company, the pre-debut group will be introduced through a Kakao TV’s original that is scheduled to premiere in September.
Kakao Entertainment was formed after KakaoPage and Kakao M merged. The corporation currently controls subsidiary companies like Starship Entertainmnet, IST Entertainment, Management SOOP.
According to the company’s Wikipedia site Kakao Entertainment operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management, concert production company, and music publishing house.
The upcoming group, ‘GOMAK BOYS,” will be the first K-Pop group to debut directly under Kakao Entertainment, instead of under one of with their subsidiary companies.
The auditions will take place across the US, Asia, Europe, and Oceania from August till January 2033.
Most recently, Kakao Entertainment debuted new boy group ATBO, formed by the survival program “The Origin: A,B, or What?” which aired on 1theK, under their subsidiary company “IST Entertainment.”
