Introduction to Park Jinyoung
In 2012, Park Jinyoung debuted as an actor in the TV drama Dream High 2, where he played the role of Jung Ui-bong. In the same year, Jinyoung debuted as a K-Pop Idol singer/dancer with fellow future GOT7 member JB as the duo JJ Project.
After two years, in 2014, Park Jinyoung debuted as one of the vocalists in the internationally popular and bestselling K-Pop group GOT7. This group will, in the next seven years, sell millions of albums and tour the globe, as GOT7 become one of the top K-Pop acts in the industry.
In addition to being a talented vocalist, Jinyoung has written many songs and choreographed several tracks for GOT7.
- It should be noted that, although all of the members have signed with different agencies around the world, GOT7 have not disbanded.
Throughout Park Jinyoung’s time signed with JYP Entertainment, the talented actor-singer participated in several dramas, including the JTBC show This is My Love, the indie film A Stray Goat, and a supporting role in The Legend of the Blue Sea with Lee Min-ho.

Park Jinyoung also released a self-written/composed track, “DIVE,” which debuted on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart at number 12, despite being a non-album single without a music video, thereby demonstrating the ever-growing global popularity of this artist.

Future Projects
Park Jinyoung is scheduled to appear in two 2022 films:
The first, a NETFLIX spy action movie titled “Yaksha: Ruthless Operations,” includes the acting talents of So Kyung-gu, Park Hae-soo, Yang Dong-seun, and Lee El, among others. The action film is slated to be released on the platform sometime in 2022.
Furthermore, Jinyoung is to appear in the fantasy film “Hi.5” directed by Kang Hyeong-Cheol. The movie includes a star-studded cast with some of the top Hallyu actors and actresses like Yoo Ah-in, Ra Mi-ran, Ahn Jae-hong, Lee Jae-in, Kim Hee-won, and Oh Jung-Se.
