iKON’s lineup resulted from a competition show held by YG Entertainment named “Mix & Match.” In the competition, potential members competed for a final spot in the group.
- I should note that Bobby had already gained fame before debuting with iKON. In 2014, Bobby won the third season of the hugely popular hip-hop TV survival program, “Show Me The Money.”
From their start, the members of iKON have showcased their unique group style: a blend of K-Hip-Hop and K-Pop. This sound is demonstrated in their debut track, “RHYTHMN TA.” Since their debut, the members of iKON have developed this style and sound into the group’s distinctive musical brand.
