ENHYPEN (엔하이픈) is a seven-membered K-Pop group under BELIFT Labs (a partnership between CJ ENM and HYBE Corp.). ENHYPEN, one of the most popular groups to have debuted in 2020, have made their names as incredible pop musicians and performers.

Introduction to ENHYPEN K-Pop

In 2020, ENHYPEN’s lineup was formed through the successful TV competition show I-LAND. A few months following the end of the program, the final members of ENHYPEN debuted with their catchy pop song “Given-Taken.” 

Since their debut, the members of ENHYPHEN have produced stunning performances, catchy hits, and beautiful music that have showcased the incredible talent of these extraordinary artists.

About I-LAND

I-LAND was a hit music show that aired in 2020. Produced by BELIFT Labs and aired on MNET. Millions of casual watchers, K-Pop fans, and music listeners watched this program from countries around the globe.

Throughout I-LAND, 23 talented trainees fought for a spot in the final group that would become ENHYPEN.

After 12 heart-wrenching episodes, the mentors and fans voted for the final seven trainees. These seven trainees would make their debut as ENHYPEN a few weeks later.

Notable eliminated contestants include Hanbin, K, Geonu, Ta-ki, Daniel, Nicholas, EJ, and Kyungmin.

There are rumors of another K-Pop group or a brand new J-Pop group formed of eliminated contestants featured in I-LAND. However, these theories are yet to be confirmed by BELIFT Labs or HYBE Corp.

Throughout the program, iconic figures in the K-Pop industry mentored the 23 trainees and contestants. The three primary mentors included legendary singer Rain, distinguished rapper Zico, and HYBE founder Bang Si-hyuk.

Furthermore, international hit K-Pop groups like Seventeen, TXT, and BTS gave the trainees further advice on music, performance, and more.

Currently, MNET and BELIFT Labs are set to release the second season of I-LAND in the first half of 2022. This second season will set out to debut a brand new girl group.
