JYPE band DAY6’s subunit Day6 Even of Day have announced the upcoming release of their special summer song.

The track, titled “Beach Darling,” is expected to be released next Wendsday, the 31st of August.

The new summer song will be gifted to the fans who have supported and rooted for the band as a celebration of the subunit’s debut in 2022.

Fans were especially surprised by the news of the new summer single since all of the members of DAY6 Even of Day, Dowoon, Wonpil, and Young K, are currently serving their mandatory military service.

Most recently Young K was celebrated for his achievement of winning the Eighth Army’s Best Warriors competition at Korea’s US Base, where Young K is serving as a KATUSA soldier.

Day6 Even of Day debuted in 2020 with the release of their first album, titled “The Book of Us : Gluon – Nothing Can Tear Us Apart.”

The group returned last year with their most recent album, “Right Through Me.” Young K and Wonpil also released their first solo albums last year, titled, “Eternal” and “Pilmography.”
